General Restorative Dentistry
At 30 Beaumont Street, we take great pride in the level of service we provide for our patients. We provide a wide range of services aimed at maintaining and promoting the overall health of the teeth, gums, and mouth.
Preventive Care
One of the fundamental principles of general dentistry is providing preventative care. Through patient education and clear explanations we can help you to maintain healthy mouth, this is key to helping avoid treatment in the future and helps us to provide long lasting, reliable treatment. Regular, routine examinations and hygiene visits will help us to guide you and identify any potential problems.
We have a practice plan that offers savings over the regular costs of Examinations, Hygienist visits and dental x-rays, but also qualifies for 10% of treatment fees.
Examination, Diagnosis and Treatment Planning
Thorough examination begins with checking outside of the mouth, checking the jaw joint, muscles and lymph nodes of the head and neck area for anything untoward. We assess the soft tissues of the mouth, before checking the teeth and gum health. We routinely use magnification to give us a more in depth view which helps us to identify potential problems early.
Using clinical photography, digital scanners and digital radiographs (x-rays) and now Cone Beam CT scans (a 3D x-ray) help us to plan the best course of treatment with predictable outcomes. For people who can struggle with “in mouth” x-rays we have the facility to take these extra-orally (outside of the mouth).
Treatment
Our relaxed, spacious surgeries, experienced dentists and nurses help you feel at ease during treatment. All of our dentists continue to update their knowledge base regularly, use the highest quality materials and latest, evidence based techniques to provide reliable, predictable treatment and outcomes, from fillings to crowns, bridges and implants. Digital scanning impressions helps us to provide incredibly reliable restorations (Inlays, Onlays, Crowns and Bridges.). These are made by our trusted laboratories and accuracy is to the micron level!
Being a fully digital practice, as well as being more accurate and comfortable for patients, has helped us to reduce our carbon footprint. It reduces waste from impression materials, gypsum, clinical waste (that would go to incineration), and road miles.
